    Practices happen several times a week. The drive matters more than the badge. Shortlist clubs within reach, then go watch a practice and see how coaches treat the kids who are not the stars.

    Open tryouts are chaos, and known players get the fairest look. Email the target team's coach and ask to join a practice, use club camps as extended auditions, and treat any practice invitation as the real tryout. Then attend the open tryout as a known name; dates are on our tracker, refreshed weekly.
